Why Sell to Us

No wasted time at the dock

Ready when you land

Call it in and the crew is staged. Jeff times the crew to your delivery so you’re not sitting at the dock burning the day.

Right on the Spit

At 800 Fish Dock Rd — a short run from the grounds. Less time steaming, more time fishing.

Real throughput

A full-scale line that moves volume: 35,000 lb of sockeye offloaded in 2–4 hours, halibut in about 3.5.

A dependable buyer

Backed by 7Seas since 2016. Straightforward dealing and a steady home for your fish, season after season.

A slow offload costs you twice — the day you burn at the dock, and the quality your catch loses sitting in the hold while you wait.

The Plan

How a landing works

  1. Call it in

Every landing is confirmed before the boat heads in. Price, grading, and weights are agreed up front — not renegotiated dock-side.

  2. Tie up. We take it.

Jeff has the crew staged when you arrive. 35,000 lb of sockeye comes off in 2–4 hours, and the receiving weights and fish tickets are our problem, not yours.

  3. Get back on the water

You're settled straight and steaming back to the grounds — with a buyer that'll still be here next season.

Tenders & Ongoing Partnerships

Let’s set up the season

Running a tender or looking for a steady buyer you can plan around? We’d rather build the relationship before the run than scramble during it. Reach out and we’ll talk volumes, timing, and terms for the season ahead.

FAQ

Questions Fishermen Ask

Does AFF buy fish, or just process it for someone else?

We buy. Alaskan Fish Factory is the purchaser — price, grading, and weight are agreed before delivery, and we handle the receiving weights and fish tickets.

What do you buy?

Cook Inlet sockeye and Pacific halibut are our main species.

Can I just show up and land without calling ahead?

No — every landing needs to be confirmed with us before the boat heads in. An inquiry isn’t a confirmed landing on its own.

How is price set?

Price is discussed and agreed before delivery, not negotiated dock-side after the fact.

Do you do custom or toll processing for fishermen who want their catch back?

Our focus is buying and processing Cook Inlet sockeye and Pacific halibut. Reach out and we can talk through what you need.

Who do I talk to about selling this season?
